A word from the Ecology Committee

Hello Members from the Ecology Team.

I bet you all enjoy the view of a well struck shot as it flies through the air, framed against a blue sky before dropping down past the green trees onto the smooth grass of the green.

In the back-ground you can hear the calls of the birds and the tapping of the woodpecker.

Many of you who stop for a snack on the eleventh tee will have been met by the crows that arrive to pick up your scraps.

Have you ever wondered how the fish got in the new ponds?

Who decides what type of trees to plant?

Do we like Himalayan Balsam?

If you have an interest in putting something back into the club then why not join the Ecology committee.

You don’t have to have any expertise in ecology, just an interest.

We meet about six times a year.
