More news of friendlies with Dunscar

We have enjoyed Friendly Fixtures with Dunscar Golf Club for 26 years now. The Fixture was first agreed by the then Captains of both clubs - Alan Wilson of Sale and Richard Openshaw of Dunscar.

2008 is Dunscar's Centenary Year and because of a very heavy diary coupled with very bad weather we finally held our away leg at Dunscar on Sunday 19th October.

They are currently engaged in slight alteration to the Gents and as you see our Captain as his his wont took the word Friendly very seriously and decided to "Pose" on their out of use Toilet - maybe his need was urgent!!

The other Photo (see next news item) shows our Captain presenting Mr. Ron Cain Captain of Dunscar with the Wilson/Openshaw Trophy and Mr. Captain of Dunscar with the additional Trophy which Sale Presented to Dunscar to mark our Friendship in this their Centenery Year.
