Defibrillator appeal gets close to £500

Hope you are aware that an appeal was made to all members for contributions towards the purchase of a defibrillator which would be accessible 24/7 at Sale Golf Club.

To date we have received almost £500 in donations so are nearly halfway to achieving a target total of £1000 which would provide not only the purchase of a defibrillator but also some training from NWAS.

I am sure that most of us are aware that immediate access to a defibrillator can be a life saver and having one at SGC would be a well worth addition.

If you feel able to make a contribution please drop it in to the office marked 'Defibrillator Appeal'

Some members have suggested that the '200' club could make a contribution however Council have agreed that this should be a facility to which ALL members have the opportunity to make a contribution, hence the general appeal.

We hope to have a defibrillator installed well before the end of the year
