Improvements and Additions to our Website

Results Page

We have provided a new Results page on the website and this has the entire clubs syllabus on it. We will keep it up to date with information from the competitions committee.
When a competition has been closed, we will obtain a copy of the score sheet and upload it onto the website. Links are in place and when the appropriate file is loaded, members who have internet access will be able to view, the score sheet for that competition. If the competition is a handicap qualifier all the changes will be visible as on the page. This is a duplication of the printed score sheets put up on the comps notice board. I have been asked to point out that these pages may not reflect the correct order for the prizes.
As not all competitions are run on the club software, not ALL comps scores can be shown, but we are working towards this with the committee.

Matches Page

We have provided a new Matches page on the website and this lists the Inter Club matches,
(We are waiting for the up to date information on the Gents matches for 2009).
This page gives the dates and venues of future matches and we will update results as we receive them.
I have spoken to the team organisers and when they provide the team selection document to us, we can put that on the website as well. This will enable team members to be aware of selection without having to go to the club. Selected team members will still have to verify their availability for the match in the normal way.

Gallery Page

We have provided a new Gallery page, for photographs relating the club. If any members are interested in providing good quality photographs, we would be welcome their help.

Trades Page

Would you like to promote your business on the Club Website.
More and More members will be looking at the Sale GC Website to find results of competitions, inter-club match teams and results We have created a page available from the main menu for our members to promote their businesses / trades.
For a very small annual fee you can have an entry onto this Trades Page.
The entry can be text only with telephone number contact, or text with a scanned business card with links to email and / or your own website, in fact whatever you would like we will try to achieve.

The money raised initially will offset the cost of running the website, and then will be used by the club for further improvements to the course and clubhouse.
